Commercial Carpet Cleaning
Carpet cleaning is the process of removing dirt, stains, allergens, and other contaminants from carpets to improve their appearance, hygiene, and longevity. Carpets can accumulate a variety of particles over time, including dust, food crumbs, and even bacteria. Regular cleaning not only maintains the visual appeal of carpets but also contributes to a healthier indoor environment.
When choosing a carpet cleaning method, factors to consider include the type of carpet fibres, the level of soiling, any existing stains, and the carpet manufacturer’s recommendations. We recommend hiring a professional carpet cleaning services for more thorough and effective results, especially for deep cleaning.
At The Carpet Cleaning Company our preferred method of commercial carpet cleaning is using Hot Water Extraction: This involves using hot water, along with a cleaning solution, to deep-clean carpets and rugs. The carpets and rugs are pre-treated with the appropriate product depending on carpet type. This is either left to dwell or agitated in depending on what’s needed. Then our powerful Ashby’s Enforcer machine sprays a mixture of hot water and detergent onto the carpet or rug and immediately vacuums it up, along with the dissolved dirt. Hot water extraction cleaning can effectively remove deep-seated dirt and stains and is more effective than dry and encapsulating cleaning.
Dry Cleaning: Dry cleaning methods involve using specialised cleaning compounds or powders that are spread over the carpet and then worked into the fibres using a machine or brush. These compounds attract and encapsulate dirt, which is then vacuumed away. Dry cleaning is known for its fast drying time and is a good option for carpets that can’t handle a lot of moisture.
Encapsulation: In this method, a specialised cleaning solution is applied to the carpet, which then dries into crystals that encapsulate dirt. The crystals are later vacuumed away. Encapsulation is known for its fast drying time and low moisture usage.
Commercial Upholstery Cleaning
Upholstery cleaning refers to the process of cleaning and maintaining the fabric, padding, and other materials used in furniture, such as sofas, chairs, and other upholstered items. Over time, upholstery can accumulate dirt, dust, stains, allergens, and even odours, making regular cleaning essential for both aesthetic and health reasons.
Remember to always check the care label attached to your furniture for manufacturer recommendations on cleaning and maintenance. If you’re unsure about how to proceed, it’s a good idea to consult a professional upholstery cleaner to avoid any potential damage to your furniture.
